We keep the feel of the original and retouch only what’s needed

We refine the face, body line, skin and colours to match the light and texture of the photo. Tell us your preferred level and any overall requests, and a designer will review the original before working on it.

Choose your retouching level

The right level differs for each photo, so please list your requests in order of priority.

Light retouching

Keeps the original impression while evening out skin tone and small blemishes.

Medium retouching

Balances face and body lines and colour tone without being noticeable.

Strong retouching

Applies clear changes, but stays within what the original photo allows.

What we can and can’t retouch

Results may vary depending on the photo’s resolution and shooting conditions.

Work we can do naturally

  • Refining face, jaw and body lines
  • Softening blemishes and fine lines
  • Tidying tooth shape and braces
  • Natural adjustment of eye size and nose shape
  • Overall brightness, skin tone and colour correction

Work that may be difficult depending on the original

  • Redrawing a hidden face or body
  • Restoring badly blurred or out-of-focus photos
  • Large background compositing or adding/removing people
  • Changing poses or outfits entirely from the original
  • Extreme body reshaping or edits that make you look like a different person

    Original camera files preserve detail far better than downsized files re-saved from messenger apps.

    Please specify the photo number and your request in detail

    Please note the file order and the area together, like “Photo 2: brighten the skin tone, soften the arm line only.”

    Express retouching covers up to 10 photos

    If you need a fast turnaround, please check the upload quantity and the possible scope of work first.

The work schedule starts once both the photos and your requests have been submitted.

    Standard retouching takes 4 business days; express retouching takes 1-2 business days.

Things to note when requesting retouching

We reflect your requests as much as possible, but some edits may not be possible depending on the photo.

Scope of teeth and facial feature retouching

Reshaping teeth, removing braces and heavy alteration of facial features may not be possible.

Scope of eye and nose retouching

Enlarging eyes, slimming the nose and similar edits are possible within a natural range.

Scope of clothing wrinkle retouching

Some clothing wrinkles may be difficult to remove.

About compositing work

Compositing is not included in retouching. If you need compositing, please contact customer service for a quote.
